Capricon (and its parent organization, Phandemonium) are committed to ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities to our convention and its resources, both in-person and digital. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility web standards when possible on the site.

Feedback and Accessibility Requests

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Capricon and its digital properties. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers and how we can help:

    E-mail: accessibility@capricon.org

We are a volunteer-run organization and while we try to at least acknowledge receipt of your email within 48 hours, it may take longer to provide a complete response.  Thank you for your patience!

Current Measures to Support Accessibility

We track our current accessibility initiatives, including known issues with our website, on our Accessibility Department page.

Website Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. We are working on confirming our conformance with WCAG Level A.  Once this is complete, we will begin working on our Level AA conformance.
